Complementary Colors

I have been so excited to share these pictures. I did these two small weddings in November and loved how both of them turned out. The yellow and gray wedding is the same one that I blogged about the centerpieces here. If you saw my post about succulents the other day then you know why I am in love with this bouquet.

The purple bouquet was completely different but I am equally in love. It was so different than your typical bouquet but I LOVED how it turned out. It was edgy and so fun. It had some fun flowers in it too: pin cushion flowers, coxcomb, awesome purple vanda orchids, purple cabbages, anemones, some callas, lacy dusty miller, and peacock feathers. The shape was fun too. The bride wanted a little bit of a cascade so I did sort of a modern assymetrical version since cascading bouquets are actually coming back. Like I said, LOVE. I was SO mad I didn't get my own pictures of this one. I knew the pictures of the yellow bouquet would be AWESOME because my same wedding photographer took them (Gallery Photography) and Kelly is amazing. But I don't think the pictures of the purple one do it justice. There isn't really a picture of it at it's best angle. Cascading bouquets are hard because they technically have a "right" front side. But anyway, it was so great in person. Here are the pics so take a peek and tell me what you think!
